Seth Vishambhar Nath Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Barabanki, is one of the newest pharmaceutical education institution situated in the Uttar Pradesh, India and it was established in the year of 2018. Located on a 20-acre of land on the Lucknow-Barabanki National Highway, this affiliated college has in the recent past been recognised as offering the best education in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. Seth Vishambhar Nath Institute of Pharmaceutical Science is AICTE and PCI approved which means it stays in line with the national quality standards. Spread over an area of 200 acres the institute has 23 departments and the strength of the students and faculties show that the institute aims at providing specialised education for pharmacy students with a total student intake of 232 and a faculty strength or 7. The college, at the moment, offers its students only 4 programmes in the field of pharmacy which can meet certain educational outcomes and various professional expectations. 

Seth Vishambhar Nath Institute of Pharmaceutical Science has a wide range of facilities that add value to learning and the general growth of the learners in the institute. There are two hostels one for boys’ and one for girl student, both of them have the capacity of hosting more than 1000 students with options of single, double or triple sharing basis of furnished rooms. In line with the academic needs, the college consists of three computer labs with 60 networked computers providing the best of both hardware and software requirements. The library system is one of the most sophisticated in the Bareilly area and contains an Electronic Learning Centre specialises in e-books and e-journals. A few amenities include basketball and volleyball courts, besides, students’ fitness is attended to by a professional fitness instructor and a fully equipped gym. There is also an area for Wi-Fi access, a fully equipped 300 seater auditorium, and a cafeteria where learners are also able interact and relax. 

Seth Vishambhar Nath Institute of Pharmaceutical Science provides 4 courses in pharmacy and both are full time course. The B.Pharma course has consummated 100 students for a course period of four years and the D.Pharma course has consummated 60 students for a course period of 2 years. These programmes are intended to deliver adequate and sufficient pharmaceutical education and training tools and techniques to secure excellent careers in the global pharmaceutical sector, research and healthcare professions. The total of student in all the programmes is one hundred and sixty in order to keep the student to faculty ration in the institute in order to encourage learning. 

The admission process in Seth Vishambhar Nath Institute of Pharmaceutical Science is made as complete and as unbiased as possible. This makes sure that student from every part of Uttar Pradesh get the same chance of getting admission for their desired course and or programme through merit. The institute also has a transport facility which work on Chasi –Hajiri system for different pick-up points to allow students to easily travel to the institute.
