Sherwood College of Pharmacy, Barabanki, an affiliated college established in 2007 in Uttar Pradesh, operates on a compact campus of 2.13 acres and falls in the domain of co-education. It is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India. There are two specialised pharmacy programmes that are carried out in the college, which hasa total enrolment of 391 students and a faculty of 15.

The campus has separate hostel accommodations for boys and girls who enjoy a satisfactory living atmosphere along with hot and cold water supply, medical aid, electricity backup, and internet facilities. The college library contains a present collection of journals, books, and e-resources in the area of pharmacy to support teaching and research work. Medical facilities are available at Sherwood College of Pharmacy with qualified nurses and doctors on campus, and transport services are offered for commuting students from all parts of Lucknow.

Sherwood College of Pharmacy offered two full-time courses in pharmacy education. The most popular, in terms of intake, is the four-year undergraduate Bachelor of Pharmacy programme with 100 seats. The other course is the two-year Diploma in Pharmacy programme having an intake of 60 seats.

The admission policy of Sherwood College of Pharmacy is strictly merit-based. Admission to the B.Pharma course is done based on the result of entrance exams. These exams assess students' ability to pursue pharmacy coursework and are primarily utilised as the admission criterion. The D.Pharma programme is similarly entrance exam-based for admission.
