Siddharth College of Education Jamkhandi is an affiliated college established in the year 2005 in Bagalkot, Karnataka. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has approved the institute, and it provides co-educational facilities for students. The college is functioning from a campus area of 3 acres; the present student strength is 87 and teachers/faculty members constitute 13 in number. Siddharth college of education is a teacher education college which offers only one course, B.Ed. The institute also continues to provide quality education as provided by the facilities provided as well as the development of well-rounded characters.

The college has put in place a number of facilities that can supplement teaching and learning in the college. Effective library means that there is a wealth of different educational resources which can be used by students. The campus also has a cafeteria, which management uses for the provision of catering services to the members of staff as well as the students. Students who have an interest in doing exercises: the college has provided facilities for the sport enthusiast. This institute has an awesome Information technology provision, which keeps the students updated on information technology trends in education. 

Teaching laboratories are within each department to offer practical sessions, while an auditorium is used for various occasions, for example, seminars. The college also has a guest house for the visiting faculty members and a health centre comprising first aid amenities. On the same note, the University has set up a Training and Placement Cell to oversee campus recruitment to land promising career opportunities for the graduating students.

At present, Siddharth College of Education only provides one entire course known as Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). This two-year program has an authorised intake capacity of 100 seats, which shows that the institute is keen to maintain an appropriate number of students in a class. It is the course in the Bachelor of Education to equip any candidate with the relevant knowledge expected of the professional in teaching. The college is currently Web 4 enrolled students but has physical capacity for more than this, meaning we could expand in the coming years.

The college has prescribed admission criteria which are based on the merit of the qualifying examination /entrance test /exam as the case may be. The college admits students in accordance with policies laid down by the state government, UT administration and the affiliated university.
