Sir Chhotu Ram Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut is a government college that was established in 2002. The primary aim of this institute is to train students in such a way that they have the necessary global competence, vision, and skills to meet the challenges of the emerging global knowledge economy.
SCRIET Meerut is affiliated to the Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, and is approved by AICTE. At Sir Chhotu Ram Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut, students are offered B.Tech, BBA, B.Sc Hons and M.Tech in various specialisations. Infrastructure of collage is good as average government collage and there is a main administrative building and other department is being held by collage and all the gaming facilities like volleyball basketball badminton are provided by this collage Hostel facilities are also available here..

As your JEE rank is 132461 and no reservation category, I don't think you have any chance of getting government college with cse branch.
Your UPSEE rank that is 5606 is good enough so you can try some private colleges like sharda university, Galgotias Institute and University , KIET etc..

Placements at SCRIeT under UPSEE is very ppor for Information Technology engineering stream as 30% candidates get job opportunities.
Average package is 3.1lpa and majority remain unplaced.
Many BPO comapnies seen participating and Faculties too not so supportive for placements.
Alumni support is negligible.
Overall not recommended.
