Sree Vidyanikethan College of Nursing, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, was started in 2006 as an affiliated college. This institution is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, and it is an exclusively nursing education college. The campus is compact, spread over 3.72 acres, with two courses in nursing and a capacity of 192 students. The faculty comprises 8 dedicated professionals. Sree Vidyanikethan College of Nursing offers a co-educational system and places maximum emphasis on the quality of nursing education in a very supportive learning environment. Sree Vidyanikethan College of Nursing runs two full-time nursing courses: the B.Sc Nursing and the Post Basic B.Sc Nursing. While the intake for B.Sc Nursing is 50, that for the Post Basic B.Sc Nursing course is 20 students per annum. Both courses are oriented toward complete professional training in the field of nursing to have successful professionals in this particular area of health care. 

Admission procedure to Sree Vidyanikethan College of Nursing is through Dr. N.T.R. University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. After 10+2, eligible candidates are summoned for counselling for the B.Sc Nursing course in the merit list order. In the case of Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, this is different: it occurs via a computer-based online entrance test. The rank obtained in the entrance test forms the basis for selection. The admissions process ensures that the college only admits students with the necessary aptitude and dedication towards this rather challenging yet rewarding nursing career.
