BE Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Sri Vidya College of Engineering and Technology, Virudhunagar Offline Course

Minimum Qualifications:

• A pass in H.Sc. (Academic with Maths, Physics and Chemistry) (or)
• A pass in H.Sc. (Vocational Stream in any one of the Vocational courses with the related subject) (or)
• Diploma in any one of the courses. (or)
• Any other equivalent qualification approved by the State Board of Technical Education / Higher Secondary Board of Tamilnadu. Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST should have passed the qualifying examination in not more than two appearances.

A pass in the HSC (Academic) or its equivalent with a minimum average percentage in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together as given below:

H.Sc. (Academic) and other equivalent candidates: A Pass with Minimum average marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together, OC-50%,  BC/BCM-45%, MBC/DNC-40%, SC/SCA/ST-40%  

A pass in any one of the HSC (Vocational Subject) as given below with any one of the Engineering subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with a minimum average percentage put together as given below:

II) H.Sc. (Vocational) candidates: A Pass with Minimum average marks in Related Subjects, Vocational Theory and Practicals put together, OC-50%,  BC/BCM-45%, MBC/DNC-40%, SC/SCA/ST-40%.

Lateral Entry:

The minimum eligibility marks for admission to second-year BE degree courses under lateral entry for Diploma and B.Sc candidates as follows: OC-55%,  BC/BCM-50%, MBC/DNT-45%, SC/SCA/ST-pass in the qualifying examination.
