Srinivasa Institute of Engineering and Technology is situated in Thiruvallur, Andhra Pradesh, and was established in the year 2009. Located on a slightly more than an acre campus, the institute provides technology education for young technologists, coinciding with a variety of engineering programmes. The positive development that the college has AICTE approval and NAAC accreditation has placed the college in a better place, offering quality education in the region. The institute offers education to a total of 1,928 students at present, having a faculty of 141; thus, maintaining a good students per faculty ratio required for better interaction between students and faculties.

The management of SIET has committed to offering extensive and quality learning for its students. Some of the available amenities to improve educational and student needs inclusion are; The facilities include an A.C.-boarded boys’ and girls’ hostel with high-standard facilities, including 24-hour hot water system. The institute conducts 16 courses—six B.Tech, four M.Tech, and six Diploma courses—to meet the engineering needs of the students. Some of them are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The total number of students admitted to this institute is 1,928 in all the course offerings and its capacity to admit desirous engineers. 

The admission process of Srinivasa Institute of Engineering and Technology ensures that all prospective applicants to the school get a fair and standard chance. For undergraduate admission, the scores are from the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) and for postgraduate admissions, it uses scores from the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET).
