St Xavier's College has well eqipped science labs . It has central library which contains around 69000 books , huge ground , basketball court , a large auditorium having a seating capacity of 300 people , off campus hostels ( boys and girls )

Microbiology as a subject has been awinh scientists and experts for a while now. The Department of Microbiology of St Xavier's is undoubtedly one of the best college in Kolkata to pursue a career in microbiology.

The classrooms are big, antique and airy. But ac is not installed in rooms so it becomes very hot during summer months. The green field is also very well maintained. The library is also maintained properly but is quite far from the college.

The professor are quite nice but in the sociology department they fail to provide proper notes sometimes. The professors teach regularly and are highly qualified. The knowledge provided through the course is very apt.

The placements are average in the honours courses. Generally content writing related jobs are available. The placement cell needs to be more active more interactive. The professors also don't speak much about placements.

The course was worth the money. We learnt kits of things in details. Our perception and personality was influenced throughout the course. There were different conferences organised and several events took place on regular basis.

The campus is quite good. It is the best part of St xaviers. The canteen food needs to be improved. The lush green fields, the antique buildings ,the big windows and carved doors with wooden staircases creates a mesmerising atmosphere.

College infrastructure is good.its kind of old looking but it hardly even matters. They have spacious classrooms and a big field is there. They have separate department for each and every subject.overall it's very good

Acedemics is fantastic.the kind of environment Xavier's gives to its students is very good. Healthy competition,proper teaching faculties,proper guidance, these are the key factors to make a students future bright.

Placements are best. It is obvious. Xavier's college is so reputed. Students from their are excellent and I think average package is around 8 lpa.college is very much supportive during the placements..

Yes fees are standard. Money is totally worth it. I can't say about the fee structure of current.but during my period it was 9900 per quarter. Which is standard. Money is totally worth. Because you get a good environment

Campus life is very interesting. You can hang on with your friends at the green benches lr go the the table tennis room to have fun. It is very safe and lies in the heart of the city. Park Street is a very premium location

The college has a very good well equipped infrastructure with hostel facilities, library access and recreational facilities. The classrooms are very comfortable with good technological equipments like projectors , white boards etc. Not only this , there are various sports and extra curricular activities provided to the students with various rooms and grounds for the same in the college premises. The living space is clean , environment friendly and the college canteen maintains hygiene too.

Diversed syllabus including all topics required in current scenario. The college does not have those old topics which have not been updated since a long period of time. Instead it has subjects which are parallel to the current requirments.

Our college have all the necessary things facilities and equipments. The classrooms have AC's, so classrooms are very comfortable. Classes are basically taken through porjector, every room has projector. Free wifi is given to the students.

I'm studying bachelor of commerce on finance. As I have a passion on finance and I have family business so commerce is very relatable degree for me. Teaching quality is very impressive, classes are very interactive.

Many reputed companies come in on campus placement, maximum students get placement, I'm also preparing for getting placement. Average salary offered by companies is 5-6 lakhs per annum, which really impressive.

The course cost around 60 thousands per year, which I personally think reasonable. Because the courses provided by the college is worth, and infrastructure and facilities are value for money in my opinion.

The colleges has all the necessary infrasrtcture however certain infrastructure is quite old. For example most of the toilets are Indian and many classrom is yet to have AC installed which is difficult in such heat. In most of the classrooms we have a projector for better understanding, we have a adjoint library with access to many books since the college was established. We have soports, hostel and a seperate computer lab building. All the the sites are used and well maintained.

I am studying BCOM hons in St. Xavier's College Kolkata as I want to have a career in the feild of commerce and bcom being one of those subjects which covers majority of the ambits in commerce. The quality of teaching is good, sxc being ranked amongst the top 10 college is because of the academics which is given the higiest priority in college. Yes we have an updates curriculum as per the recent guidelines and we can get instant placement as well post graduation.

we have a seperate placement cell who looks into different opportunity for students. we can apply for internships from 1st year with good companies visiting in 3 rd year for direct placement. COmpanies like DE-Shaw, EY, TATA and other big fours visit our campus every year for placement.
