Surendranath College in Kolkata was established in the year 1884 and is one of the most prestigious West Bengal institutions of higher education. The affiliated college was accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. It offers varied undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Its campus stretches on compact 0.785 acres, and the student strength is 4,908 with a strength of 78 faculty members.
Surendranath College has equipped itself with all modern facilities to further its academic pursuits. I personally feel the infrastucture is much better than most other colleges in Kolkata, It has all the neccessities and provide a great environment for the students studying there. There are library that you can use.

I had a great time there. Infrastructure is well and good, proper maintained. Departments of science, commerce, Arts and Law were divided into 4 buildings. There is a lawn in between the buildings. A common room is there for students to chill.

The college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, equipment. Classroom, laboratories are good and well maintained. Sports ground are very clean and regularly maintained. Foods are hygienic in canteen.
