SVS Medical College, Mahboobnagar, was established in 1999 and is one of the prominent medical college in the Yenugonda, Mahbubnagar district of Telangana. This affiliated college approve by NMC offering various medical courses at UG and PG levels. Located on a massive area of fifty-five point five acres, this college has an overall student enrolment capacity of seven hundred and forty-eight and a faculty of two hundred and six. SVS Medical College is recognised for its overall medical education course structures and it has 17 courses offered in three programmes, the MBBS, MD and MS.

SVS Medical College possesses all the necessary equipment to meet the standards of academic and research activities. It is, therefore, equipped with modem and well equipped laboratory, modem library as well as modem information and technology. Under the accommodation facilities, the campus has boys’ hostel as well as the girls’ hostel andaccommodates both undergraduate and post graduate students. The MBBS programme is a foundation of the undergraduate medical course being offered at the institute having a sanctioned admission capacity of 150 students. Biomedical courses available at the postgraduate level in the college include a number of MD and MS courses in General Medicine, General Surgery, Anaesthesiology, Pathology, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics and others. A total intake approved for all the courses amounts to 748 affiliated to the institutes’ vast contribution to the production of medical professionals in the region.

For entry into MBBS, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is still used as the entrance exams. For postgraduate programs (MD/MS), admission is through marks obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduates (NEET-PG).
