SVVP VMC Degree and PG Colleg was established in 1980 and is managed by the committee of Vidya Vikas Vidyapeeth. Founded as a co-educational institute, this college is affiliated with Andhra University, Visakhapatnam of MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. There are twelve courses given at the institute in six different degrees, for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

SVVP VMC Degree and PG College offers a number of amenities for the general improvement of the learning environment. Undergraduate level has two types of programmes they offer full-time, like B.Com., B.Sc., BA, and BBA., which have a three-year duration. To the scholars, the college provides two-year full-time postgraduate programmes such as M.Com. and MA Social Work. 

The admission process at SVVP VMC Degree and PG College is likely to be easily understandable. The universities currently use the marks scored in the qualifying examination as the main criterion for admission (10+2 for undergraduate programmes and a bachelor's degree for postgraduate graduate programmes). The college accepts applications from only those students who have appeared for their higher secondary examination from any recognised board.
