Tezpur Law College was established in 1972. The major institution of legal education, Tezpur, Assam, is an affiliated college under the Bar Council of India. This college is running and grooming legal minds for more than five decades. Spread over a compact area of 2 acres, this campus provides an environment strictly dedicated to studies by the 481 students enrolled here with 14 faculty members.

The Moot Court is one of the major facilities in which practical legal education is imparted and goes a long way to provide students with an excellent opportunity to improve their advocacy skills in a simulated court environment. Tezpur Law College has invested in excellent IT infrastructure to help the students face the challenges of a digitised learning regime in order to practice law today.

Tezpur Law College undertakes two courses of law, which are 3-year LLB and 5-year integrated BA LLB. All the courses being full-time on-campus courses, this shows the commitment of the college towards an immersive legal education. 

The admission process at Tezpur Law College is designed to select capable and motivated students for its law programmes. For the LLB course, admission is through an entrance exam to involve only those candidates with the aptitude for pursuing legal studies.
