University College of Engineering, Pattukkottai (UCEP) is one of the empowered constituent colleges of the University which was started in the year 2009. This institution is situated at Rajamadam, Pattukkottai, District-Tamil Nadu, It occupies 45 acres of land. UCEP is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which is a statutory body that provides or recognises universities, colleges, and course, skills development, and research in in India. Engineering is a popular faculty in this college providing a number of programmes with a total student enrolment of 818 and having faculty strength of 12. UCEP currently offers seven undergraduate programmes all of which offer the Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree with a focus on engineering disciplines. 

University College of Engineering has numerous facilities that it claims will improve the learning experience of its students in general. The college burns a collection of 11534 volumes of textbooks, journals and magazines which are housed in the college library. Ten computers for e-resource retrieval have also been incorporated to enhance the study practices of students in various fields of engineering. In terms of physical health,students’ UCEP has a fine sports area and a proper gym that students can use. Being a residential University, it has separate hostels for boys and Girls for out station students convenience. There is also a daylight health centre provided with first aid services for emergencies. The college also helps in establishing up-to-date laboratories for every department of the college so student gets practical knowledge as well. Other facilities are a canteen for the consumers, a hall for meetings and conferences, and close proximity to bank and ATM services. This is a Constituent College of Anna University, Chennai.
