Valivalam Desikar Polytechnic College founded in 1958 is located in Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu which is duly recognised, has tremendous experience in the technical education field. This college affiliated to MGR is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTA) and set in a thirty acres of land. The college currently has a total student intake of 812 and a faculty strength of 21 and offers a whole range of diploma programmes. Following its technical education niche, the institution offers seven specialised courses, with all of them focusing on the engineering field.
