Vedantaa Institute of Medical Science Vedantaa Hospital and Research Center, Palghar, was established in the year 2017. This is one of the top medical colleges located in the Maharashtra state of India. Affiliated with the National Medical Commission (NMC), the institute imparts different medical programmes within the scope of medical science. The institute has a total student enrolment  of 297 with a faculty strength of 188 members in total. The institute provides 18 courses at 3 different degree levels, with specialisations in various medical disciplines. 

Vedantaa Institute of Medical Science Vedantaa Hospital and Research Center is developed with a lot of modern facilities which can facilitate all-round growth in students. Separate hostels for boys and girls are provided in the campus, well furnished for comfortable accommodation for students. A well-equipped health center with first aid facilities is in place to cater for the curative needs of the students. Vedantaa Institute of Medical Science offers a total of 18 courses, all of which are full-time programmes. The postgraduate programmes under it include MD and MS under various specialisations like General Surgery, Dermatology, Radio Diagnosis, General Medicine, Paediatrics, and Anaesthesiology. 

The admission procedure at Vedantaa Institute of Medical Science is merit-based and comprises of a standardised selection process. The institute admits students into the MBBS programme through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). For postgraduate courses in MD and MS, the institute admits students on the basis of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Post Graduates (NEET-PG). This ensures that students with a strong base in medical sciences are admitted to the institute. The institute also follows timelines for admission put in place by the respective examination authorities.
