Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research Puducherry has an excellent academic reputation, with only 18 seats for the MPH program. The institute boasts air-conditioned classrooms, a playground, and a library. The faculty is highly dedicated, putting in significant efforts to prepare students for careers in public health. While the hostel facilities are above average, the mess could be improved. The institute does not have a dedicated placement committee, but it focuses on making students job-ready upon graduation.
