Admission Process for B.Tech. Ist Year

A. Admissions through UPSEE counseling:

UPSEE qualified candidates have to report in the college with allotment letter issued by UPSEE in favor of our college (G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management, Code: 192) for finalization of admission and follow the same as mentioned below:

• Report to the College till date as mentioned on the allotment letter.
• Bring Original Documents for Verification at the time of reporting.
• Carry two photo copy sets of the Documents (self-attested) as mentioned below.
• Fee as mentioned below can be paid only in the form of Bank Draft favoring G. L. Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management payable at New Delhi /Noida or Greater Noida.
• Rest of the procedures would be completed in the college only.

Through JEE-Mains Entrance Exam

1. JEE-Mains qualified candidates for B.Tech. the course have to attend online counseling as per schedule provided by the JEE-Mains conducting authority or AKTU, Lucknow and then after the allotment is confirmed, the candidate will have to report to the Admission Cell with an allotment letter issued by JEE-Mains in favor of GL BAJAJ Group of Institutions, Mathura
2. Physical reporting is not merely showing presence in the institute. It is an end process to complete admission formalities by verifying and submitting documents and depositing of institute requisite fee at the Institute by the terms and conditions stated in the Admission Letter of JEE-Mains counseling.
3. Before physical reporting, all allotted candidates are required to do the following to minimize human interaction and smooth functioning given the COVID-19 pandemic:

Direct Admission

Direct admissions for B.Tech. Program at GL BAJAJ Group of Institutions, Mathura are offered under management quota as per university norms. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in JEE-Mains/12th PCM percentage. 

B.Tech (lateral entry admissions)

Through UPCET - Entrance Exam

The admissions in B.Tech. Lateral entry in the 2nd year will be achieved through qualifying UPCET -  Entrance Exam conducted by AKTU, Lucknow this year for the first time. Please follow the below steps to apply for admission to B.Tech. Lateral entry in 2^nd year through UPCET - Entrance Exam

1. UPSET - Entrance Exam qualified candidates for B.Tech. Lateral entry in the 2nd-year course has to attend online counseling as per the schedule provided by the AKTU, Lucknow, and then after the allotment is confirmed, the candidate has to report to the Admission Cell with the allotment letter issued by AKTU, Lucknow in favor of GL BAJAJ Group of Institutions, Mathura

Through Direct Admissions Process

Direct Admissions for B.Tech. Lateral entry in 2^nd year at GL BAJAJ Group of Institutions, Mathura is offered under management quota as per university norms. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in UPCET - / Diploma / B. Sc. percentage.

The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent).

For admission to first year of B.Tech. candidate must have clearly passed an intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University in each compulsory subjects and one optional subject as given in clause 3.1 (i) and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects. A candidate Passed Diploma (Engineering & Technology) with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) is also eligible for B Tech.

Eligibility to appear in UPSEE  for admission to second year (lateral entry) of B.Tech.

Lateral entry in B.Tech. for Engineering Diploma holders or B.Sc. Graduates with Mathematics as one of the subject at XII standard.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
