The admission through NEET conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) followed by single window counselling of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Application for admission shall be made to the selection committee, Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, Chennai.

• The candidate should be a citizen of India.
• A candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or would complete the said age on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the first BHMS degree course.
• Candidates should have passed all the subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Academic) conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board in the same attempt in the following group of subjects with the minimum eligible marks. (Improvement marks will not be considered) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (or) Physics, Chemistry, Biology with any other subject.

The candidate should qualify for the 10+2 examination with 50% marks. The candidate must have physics, chemistry, and biology in the 12th class. The candidate should have to go through the different national and state level entrance examinations.
