    Admissions will be made for UG Degree programmes through online counselling conducted by the AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) of the Ministry AYUSH, Government of India, New Delhi on the basis of Marks obtained in the NEET UG Examinations and the eligibility criteria prescribed by the NCH regulations in accordance with the guidelines and directions issued by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India / National Commission for Homoeopathy, New Delhi and VMRF-DU from time to time.

    Eligibility Criteria

    1. To be eligible for admission to BHMS Degree Course, a candidate must have passed in 10+2 / H.Sc. (or) its equivalent examination with subjects of Physics, chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% Marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology at the Qualifying Examination mentioned in CCH Regulations, 1983 as amended in 2018 / NCH and in addition, must have come in the merit list of NEET - UG for admission to BHMS Degree Course. In respect of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories, the marks obtained in PCB / Biotechnology taken together in the qualifying Examinations must be 40% marks instead of 50%. In respect of candidates with PWD (Persons with Disabilities) the minimum marks shall be 45% for general and 40% for SC/ST/OBC category.
    2. In order to become eligible for admission to BHMS Degree Course for a particular academic year, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum of 50th percentile marks in NEET UG. However, in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/OBC category the minimum marks must be 40th percentile and PWD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates the minimum marks shall be 45th Percentile for general category and 40th Percentile for SC/ST/OBC category.

    Candidates seeking admission to B.H.M.S. should have passed Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an equivalent examination after 12 years of study of any state or Central Board accepted by the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University. The candidates should have passed in the above examinations with the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Botany and Zoology.

    • OC: Minimum of 50% marks in Biology or Botany and Zoology taken together, 50 % marks in each of Physics and Chemistry. Aggregate should not be less than 120 out of 200
    • BC: Minimum 50% in Biology or Botany and Zoology taken together, 50% marks in each of Physics and Chemistry. Aggregate should not be less than 110 out of 200
    • MBC: Minimum of 45% marks in Biology or Botany and Zoology taken together. 45% in each of Physics and Chemistry. Aggregate should not be less than 100 out of 200
    • SC & ST: Minimum of 40% marks in Biology or Botany and Zoology taken together, 40% each in Physics and Chemistry. Aggregate not less than 80 out of 200
