Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria for admission in B. Pharm Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate and Outside Maharashtra State Candidate for admission to first of degree course in Pharmacy. Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education examination or its equivalent examination with subject English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational Subjects and secured minimum 50% marks i.e. not less than 150 marks out of 300 marks (minimum 45% marks i.e not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subject Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics added together (Maximum of marks obtained in Biology/Mathematics shall be considered for the purpose of addition) and obtained a non zero score at MT-CET 2018.
Eligibility criteria of Candidates who have passed/passing Diploma in Pharmacy and seeking admission to first of Pharmacy.
Diploma holders who have passed the Diploma course in Pharmacy with minimum of 50% marks and medium of instruction as English from the Polytechnic institutes or MSBTE or AICTE approved autonomous Polytechnics in Maharashtra State (for Maharashtra State Candidates) or such polytechnics situate inside/outside the state of Maharashtra (for outside Maharashtra State candidates) Eligibility Criteria for Direct Admission at the entry level of Semester-III (i.e. the Second Year B.Pharm) of the course. The candidate who has passed the final examination leading to the Diploma in Pharmacy conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra State or equivalent examination from the Institute approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and with a minimum First Class (60% i.e. 600 out of 1000 at part – II examination for the Diploma in Pharmacy Course) as per ER -91 (i.e. post HSC two year Diploma Course) be held eligible for admission to Semester -III.
Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates:
The candidate should be an Indian National
Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Sections, and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together
Should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority
All India Candidature Candidates:
The candidate should be an Indian National
Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section, and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together
Should obtain non-zero positive scores in NEET or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and obtained a non-zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority? However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non-zero positive scores in NEET over the candidates who obtained non-zero scores in CET
NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, and Foreign National Candidature Candidates:
The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology, and obtained at least 45 % marks in the above subjects taken together
Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act
