Selection Process, the merit list shall be prepared based on the following: 

• 50% marks assigned to the qualifying academic result 
• 50% marks assigned to entrance test conducted by respective departments or any other statutory bodies.

The Candidates seeking admission to any of the above PG programme must have passed Graduation with Botany or equivalent examination. Candidates belonging to General (UR) and OBC categories must have secured at least 45% marks or equivalent CGPA. Relaxation of 5 percent marks in Qualifying Examination will be given to candidates belonging to SC, ST and PC Categories in all these programmes.

A candidate who has passed Bachelor degree of 3 years duration (B.Sc. or equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.
