Candidates are required to appear in the State Entrance Examination (SEE), conducted by U.P Technical University, Lucknow, or All India Engineering Entrance Examination (JEE Main), conducted by CBSE.

Lateral Entry: For admission to the Second year (lateral entry) of B.Tech. The candidate must have passed three years diploma in Engineering course; securing a minimum of 45% for General and OBC (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) marks in aggregate or Three years degree and passed 12th standard with mathematics as one subject securing minimum 45% for General and OBC (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) marks in aggregate in B.Sc.
