NEET will be the qualifying entrance exam for the B.A.M.S Course

For admission in the B.A.M.S. course, applicants have to qualify Entrance Test (NEET) National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. The qualified candidates in the entrance test are called for counseling in order of merit, and admissions are made accordingly by Uttrakhand Ayurveda University, Harrawala, Dehradun.

• 12th standard with science or any other equivalent examination recognized by the concerned State Government and Education Boards with at least 50% aggregate marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• For the reserved category or special category, like a physically handicapped student in 10+2, they shall be given relaxation in marks for admission in Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery as per rules for the time being in force.

The basic requirement for eligibility to get admission to the BAMS program is qualifying for the 12th Standard with the science stream or any other equivalent examination recognized by the concerned state government and education boards, provided the candidates pass the test with 50% aggregate marks in the subjects of physics, chemistry, and biology.
