The selection based on JEE Main and Siksha O Anusandhan Admissions Test (SAAT) entrance exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate shall have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks (50% in case of candidate belongs to SC / ST / OBC category) and must have obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belongs to SC / ST / OBC category) in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship.

Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Computer Science / IT / Chemistry / Biochemistry/ Biology as one of the optional subjects from a recognized Indian Board. The candidate must have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics along with their chosen optional subject. Candidate from Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste communities should have secured an aggregate minimum of 40% marks.

B.Tech Lateral Entry:

Candidates should have passed minimum THREE years / TWO years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology. OR Candidates should have a B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
