sadafreen356 25th Sep, 2024

In order to get a seat under BSc agriculture in KCET you have to secure a minimum of 50% i.e, you must get 100 marks out of 200 in the entrance exam.most students with high ranks go for Engineering. There's not much competition in BSc agriculture as compared to other fields in KCET.

Your marks are good. Yeah you will surely fetch a seat!

Have a good day!

how can i take addmission for bsc agriculture. my 2nd year result is 91% kcet rank vai practical 9910. can i get seat? thank you.

Deepti Singh 25th Sep, 2024

The KCET rank of 9910 with a good score of 91% in your class at second year's end should give you more than a fair chance of finding a seat in B. Sc. Agriculture, especially through government or well-reputed private colleges in Karnataka. However, there are a few factors on which admission depends:

Reservation Category: If you belong to a reservation category such as SC/ST/OBC, then, too you stand a higher chance of grabbing the seat.

Seat Availability: For each college, there are separate seats in B.Sc. Agriculture. Traditionally, government colleges have fewer seats, hence cut-offs are sharper.

Cut-off Trends: Cut-offs keep changing every year based on the intake or the number of students applying for their respective courses, complexity levels, and availability. Always refer to old years cut-offs of the colleges you intend to apply for.

Counseling Process: You may get a seat based on your rank, preferences, and availability through the counseling process of KCET.

You must often look for the updates on KCET counseling and enroll yourself in it to continue with the admission processes.

Do you have any special college you want? That too reduces probability.

sir I got Kcet 2nd round seat, after payment, if I get managment seat, the amount is refunded to me

Kanishka kaushikii 24th Sep, 2024

Yes, you are correct. If you secure a management seat after paying the KCET 2nd round seat fee, the amount will be refunded to you. This is a common practice in most cases.

However, there might be a processing fee or a deduction for any services already provided. It's best to confirm the exact refund policy with the concerned authority or the college you were initially allotted.

Here are some additional points to consider:

  • Refund timeline: The refund process may take some time, so be patient.
  • Documentation: You might need to provide certain documents to initiate the refund.
  • Communication: Keep in touch with the college or the relevant authorities to ensure a smooth refund process.

I hope this information is helpful to you.

in kcet second extended round can I again enter fresh option entry after accepting the college that I got in round 2

Juee Hote 20th Sep, 2024

Yes, even if you have accepted the college you were assigned in round two, you are still eligible to take part in the second extended round of KCET counselling. Here are some crucial things to think about, though:

Option Entry: You may submit new options in the second extended round, edit the ones you already submitted, or keep the ones you already have. You are free to choose, and you are welcome to take part in every way.

Seat Allotment: Your previously assigned seat (from round 2) will be automatically forfeited if you are given a new seat in the extended round. After that, you'll have to accept the new sea t.

Fees and documentation: The authorities will normally take care of transferring your fees and documentation to the new college if you have already paid them for the college you were assigned in round 2.

You should carefully consider if you really need to enter the extended round if you're happy with the college you were offered in round 2 .
