Most private colleges expect 350+ and Government colleges need 400+
Where to look: State counseling portals of Maharashtra and Gujarat. you can also Individual college websites directly
Reality check on 5 lakh budget: Good private BDS colleges in these states charge 8-15 lakhs. But y ou might find some smaller/newer colleges within 5 lakhs, but quality varies
What you can do: Contact private BDS colleges directly. Some have management quota or consider borderline scores. Enquire about fee structures and scholarship options
You can also visit colleges in person to assess quality
The safest option would be, you can consider retaking NEET if possible. Aiming for 400+ opens much better college options.
in my opinion, a mediocre college isn't worth the money and time. Either find a quality option within budget or retake the exam.
