Most courses are nowadays available in distance education mode! IGNOU for example offers more than 226 programs consisting courses at various levels. Some technical and pratical courses like medicine aren't offered via this mode.

It would help if you could tell me exactly what course are you looking after in the comments.

When taking admission in a distance education degree, please make sure that it is recognized and duly affiliated. Check their website and the official websites including UGC's for their accreditation.
