24 MonthsThis programme will make you industry-ready for the aerospace, defence, transportation, and other sectors with an education that will impart knowledge and skills on design, materials, manufacturing, testing, and sustainability using industry standard tools and practices.
The MTech in Composites will provide a strong core covering advanced mechanics, numerical methods, materials, manufacturing processes, and design methods in the context of composites. These will be followed by advanced courses in design and manufacturing, customer requirements, DFM, DFA, and FMEA, [1] among others. The course work will be strongly coupled with user industry applications, including industry visits, and an industry-based thesis.
The Curriculum Structure of Master of Technology in Composites will be announced shortly.
An engineering graduate with a BTech degree in any of the following engineering disciplines can pursue this MTech programme: Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Metallurgy, Material Science, Civil, Textile, Naval Architecture, Marine, or Agricultural engineering.
