72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Mathematics shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, the course offered by the Assam Down Town University, Guwahati.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have a Master's degree from a recognized university or equivalent professional degree.
- Minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/Differently-Abled/EWS candidates) or equivalent grade in UGC 7-point scale.
Admission Details
- The candidates who have qualified in UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET/GATE GPAT/CEED/SLET and similar National level tests in the concerned subject. However, they have to appear in interview for getting admission into the program
