72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time Doctoral program and it is offered by Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have passed the Post Graduate degree in Law / Anthropology / Sociology / Public Administration / Human Rights / Social Work / Tribal Law and Governance or any other related discipline with 55% marks or equivalent grade/CGPA. Relaxation to reserved category applicants as per CUJ norms.
Admission Details
- Admission to the Ph. D. program shall be either through a Research Entrance Test or through direct admission (relaxation from entrance test).
- A candidate who is qualified in a national level test such as UGC-NET (with JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (with JRF).
- UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET/SLET/GATE/teacher fellowship holder or have passed M.Phil programme.
