72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy in Law doctorate shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Candidates who passed (a)Master Degree from a recognized University in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks or 50% marks in case of reserved candidates in the aggregate and passed by securing a minimum of 50% marks in the Aggregate in the Ph. D. entrance test conducted by the University shall be eligible for Enrolment in the Ph.D. Programme. Mere appearance at Entrance does not guarantee admission.
