Indian Maritime University Chennai offers admission to various diploma, undergraduate (UG), and postgraduate (PG) courses. IMU Chennai admission to UG courses like B.Sc, B.Tech and DNS is based on the Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) while admission to BBA course is based on class 12 results.

IMU Chennai Admission Procedure: M.Tech/M.Sc

• Candidates fulfilling the IMU Chennai postgraduate eligibility criteria can fill the PG Indian Maritime University admissions application form and submit the same

• Appear for the IMU CET PG admission test 

• Admission to IMU PG courses will be based on the merit of IMU CET MBA/ M.Tech/ M.Sc exam marks and graduation marks

• Candidates shortlisted on the basis of above criteria will have to appear for the IMU PG counselling process

• Lastly candidates will have to get their documents verified and pay the PG course fee to confirm their IMU admission.

IMU Chennai MBA Admission Procedure 2024:

• Candidates interested in admission to the MBA course offered by the college must fulfill the eligibility criteria.

• Students must have completed graduation in the relevant stream with 50% aggregate marks and minimum 50% marks in English in Class 10/12. 

• Candidates must submit a physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practioner. 

• Qualified candidates are required to submit the documents and pay the required fee.
