72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy in Law is Regular doctorate programe. Ph.D Programme is modelled on the new UGC guidelines of Ph.D. programmes. The University envisages high standard of research so that the Ph.D. degree is also of high standard. The objectives of this programme are to impart research training to the scholar and prepare him/her to carry on independent investigation and original research and to enable them to make a significant contribution to knowledge in their respective field and profession.

Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must have obtained a Master’s degree (10+2+3+2) pattern or equivalent in that order) of MUJ or any other University recognized by UGC as equivalent thereto, in the relevant subject with not less than 55%* marks or CGPA of 5.5 and above in the 10 point scale.
- (*5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Specially-abled candidates).
Admission Details
Selection of research scholars shall be based on the performance in both written test and interview to be conducted by the University twice in a year (June and December).
