72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering is six years program offered at the National Institute of Technology Warangal.
Ph.D. programme shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
B.Tech. or B.E. or Equivalent degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering / Mechanical Engineering M.Tech. or M.E. in Metallurgical and Materials Engg. and related fields.
Admission Details
Candidates who have completed M.Tech./M.S. programs through GATE score (or) who already possesses a valid GATE score are eligible for admission with institute fellowship as per MHRD norms. Category-wise (OBC, SC, ST, PWD) reservations on overall available seats will be followed as per Government of India norms.
