Sikkim Professional University Sikkim was established in 2008. The university is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). SPU Sikkim is a state private university. There are a total of 21 dedicated faculty members.
SPU Sikkim offers a total of 32 courses at the diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels. SPU Sikkim courses include Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Hotel Management, BCA Mobile Application and Information Security, BOT, B.Lib.I.Sc, BCA Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, PGDM, M.Tech Mechanical Engineering, M.Tech Civil Engineering, and others. SPU Sikkim admissions are based on merit and scores obtained in the previous year's academic qualifications. The university also offers various scholarships to its students. Those who get a percentage between 95% to 100% will get the 100% tuition fee concession. There are other scholarship schemes such as SC (Sibling Concession of continuing students), COI (Certificate of Identification except B.Sc Nursing), WE (Women Empowerment Concession for Girl Students except B.Sc Nursing), and more.
SPU Sikkim placement cell organises many events, such as workshops, seminars, webinars and others, for its students. These events improve the skills of the students. Yes my college had all the necessary infrastructure equipments and facilities required for the modern education and the classrooms were also neat and clean and the classroom were well equipped with projectors and also neat and clean.
