Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda has a career and counselling cell that handles placement activities on campus. As per the NIRF report of 2024, as many as 2,287 students were placed at the UG level while 2,080 PG students received placement offers from various companies.
The overall median salary offers received were Rs 3.00 Lakhs for 3 and 5 year UG courses and Rs 4.00 Lakhs for 4 year UG courses. For the PG students, the overall median salary offer stood at Rs 3.40 Lakhs for 2 year PG and Rs 3.50 Lakhs for integrated PG courses. The MSU Baroda placement cell's main objective is to guide students and organise placement drives to provide students with good opportunities.
