SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRM IST) Chennai has released the placement record for the academic year 2022-23 and the placement record for the academic year 2023-24 is still ongoing. The highest salary package and average package offered during SRM University placements 2024 (as of January 06, 2024) was Rs. 52 LPA and Rs. 8.54 LPA. As per the SRM University placements 2024 (ongoing), more than 618 companies visited the campus for recruitment and more than 3421 job offers were made.
According to the SRM University Chennai placements 2023, the SRM University highest and average package stood at Rs. 57 LPA and Rs. 6.88 LPA respectively. More than 1310 visited the campus for recruitment whereas more than 9011 job offers were made. However, there were 3327+ high-paying offers. Placements are going on currently for seniors. Packages offered varies from 5 lacs going upto like 22 lac or maybe more depending on the skill set. Average salary is guess 6-7 lac in Btech. Other departments I am not sure.

We have good placements coming every year in our college. 80% of students are placed every year it is minimum. The average package in our branch is 3-6LPA and the highest is 36 LPA. We have career guidance centers. The placement process is little bit tough.
