About Acharya Brojendra Nath Seal College, Cooch Behar
Acharya Brojendra Nath Seal College Cooch Behar, formerly known as Victoria College, was established on 15 June 1888 by Maharaja Nripendra Narayan. The college was later renamed in honour of its distinguished principal, Acharya Brojendra Nath Seal, who served from 1896 to 1913.
The college has been accredited with an 'A+' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is is affiliated with Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University. It has also been recognised as a "Centre of Excellence" by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
ABNSC Cooch Behar offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Arts and Science disciplines. Undergraduate courses include BA (Honours) as well as BSc. (Honours). Postgraduate programmes comprise M.A. in Bengali, Sanskrit, and History, and MSc. in Zoology.
ABNSC Cooch Behar recorded 463 students graduating from the college out of which 84 studenents got placed with a median salary package of Rs 4,20,000 in the year 2023-2024 as per NIRF Report.

Good for those who want to learn

Our college has sufficient number of classrooms, labs , boys common room, girls common room, departmental library, a central library etc. Classrooms are good and well sized, laboratories are also good and have sufficient amount of equipments. We done all our practicals in a very good way that it can help us to make strong our concepts. Library is also have good amount of books so we should not have to buy books from outside that save our money. The living places are clean and the food that we have in our canteen is also good and hygienic
Our college provides high-quality education.

College Infrastructure
Our campus has a good environment. Classrooms are well maintained. Hostel facilities are average. Laboratories are well equipped. There is a huge central library in our campus with a great collection of books. Canteen is average.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is good and made with a historical touch in it. The Library is very good and well stocked and a suitable place for study. Separate buildings are available for separate department
