Akkineni Nageswara Rao College, more simply called ANR College, was established in the year 1950. This is one of the most famous and well-known co-educational affiliated colleges, spread over a campus of 15 acres, duly accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, situated at Gudivada, Andhra Pradesh. It offers 17 courses in 7 different degrees with a total of 1,394 enroled students and 53 faculty. It specialises in various fields such as Arts, Commerce, Sciences, and Management. This institute has a very diversified student body; the male-to-female ratio stands at 54:46 and the undergraduate to postgraduate ratio is 70:30.
ANR College has several facilities that help enrich the experience of its students in learning. There are separate hostels for boys and girls in the campus, with modern facilities and a fully functional mess. The students get to use a well-equipped gym, library, several sports facilities, and very good IT infrastructure, which serves all the academic requirements for the students. Other facilities include the cafeteria, auditorium for events and seminars, health centre with first-aid facilities, departmental labs, etc. The whole campus is WiFi enabled, and parking space is adequate for two-wheeler and four-wheeler. A training and placement cell is also maintained to facilitate campus recruitment and career guidance activities.
The institute has a very wide range of academic courses or programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels—7 undergraduate and 10 postgraduate courses. Full-time courses are offered in Arts, Commerce, Sciences, and Management. For all these courses, the approved total intake is 1,378 seats. In the last academic year, there were 1,394 students enroled in various programs. The college offers regular and self-financed courses which help meet different educational needs and choices.
Admission in the college follows a distinct admission procedure for different courses. Admittance in undergraduate courses BA, B.Com and B.Sc. is based on open merit in the college subject to reservation rules. The post graduate admissions for M.Sc and M.Com are performed by the Convener of KRUCET, Krishna University Common Entrance Test. In the case of the MBA and MCA programs, 70% of the intake is by ICET rank and the remaining 30% by the college management under the Management/NRI quota. The college accepts various entrance exams; one of the most popular among these for admission to the MBA and MCA courses is APICET, or Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test.

Yes...every necessary things is presented in college....but not maintained well...not hygiene ....every thing in college canteen will be not hygiene the owner can use the same oil for 2,3 days...it is not good for students health
