Al-ameen Engineering College, Palakkad an affiliated college, was started in the year 2003 is situated in Kulappully, Shoranur, Palakkad District of Kerala. This institute is located in a campus of 30 acre and the institute is imparting education in engineering disciplines at the UG and PG level. Endorsed by NAAC and recognised by AICTE Al-ameen engineering college was started in the year 1995-96 and its total enrolment strength of the student is 831 and total faculty member of the college is 57. 

Al-Ameen Engineering College has multiple academic infrastructures to support the courses offered as well as multiple services for students’ welfare. The college library has more than 45000 textbooks, and the college has subscribed to 150 national journal and 10 international journal. Study areas and discussion rooms are also provided and, are also well lit and accommodate several students at a time. The campus has modern laboratories for the engineering disciplines that include electrical engineering laboratory, power electronics lab, and the advanced electrical engineering laboratory.

Al-Ameen Engineering College provides 11 full time courses, B.Tech programme offered is Computer Science Engineering, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering. The M.Tech programmes availablity are Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. 

Admission into Al-Ameen Engineering College depends primarily on the Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination (KEAM). This is a state level entrance exam accepted for several B.Tech such as Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering and Mechanical Engineering etc.
