Annoor Dental College and Hospital was established in 2002 and is one of the leading and most reputed dental colleges in Muvattupuzha, Kerala. Located on 8.61 acres of land, this affiliated college is certified by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI). The college has 298 students enrolled and 202 faculty members and provides 8 courses at 3 different degree levels. The institute boasts a diverse student body with a female-to-male ratio of 6.35:1, of which 85% are undergraduate and 15% are postgraduate students.

Annoor Dental College offers facilities with the view of improving learning for the students of the college. The hostels for boys and girls are provided separately along with 24-hour security, round-the-clock water supply, and electricity with backup generators. The college has a fully furnished library situated on the second floor of the college building; the library has a collection of more than three thousand books and different sections for U.G. and P.G. students. The college also has a health centre that has basic first aid services for the illnesses and injuries students, staff, and other members of the college might seek. For sports as well as recreation, the campus is equipped with basketball, volleyball, football, badminton, and an athletic court.

Annoor Dental College and Hospital provides a total of 8 courses. At present, the institute offers one undergraduate programme (BDS), six postgraduate programmes (MDS in different disciplines), and Doctor of Philosophy (Dentistry). All the courses are daytime only, where BDS is a five-year programme and both the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programmes each take three years. The BDS programme has a total approved intake of 50 students, and the MDS specialisation offers 3 seats per specialisation on average. The specialisations offered in MDS include Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, oral pathology and oral microbiology, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, and paediatric and preventive dentistry.

Annoor Dental College and Hospital has its own rules for admission, but they follow rules and regulations by different authorities and universities. BDS programme admissions follow the KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) rank list adopted from the NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). NEET MDS has been introduced for admission to postgraduate level MDS courses. The college has given admission based on NEET, NEET-MDS and also the Kerala engineering agriculture entrance rank for some programmes.
