Asian Institute of Design, Bengaluru is a higher education college established in the year 2008. AID Bangalore offers more than multidisciplinary degrees and diplomas in new-age specialisations such as animation, gaming art, game programming and so on. AID Bangalore has three departments - the Department of Art, the Department of Design and the Department of Technology.
Earlier, AID Bangalore was known as the Asian Institute of Gaming & Animation. However, in 2017 the college was rebranded as AID (Asian Institute of Design) along with the introduction of a wider range of programmes. Asian Institute of Design, Bangalore is affiliated with Bangalore University, Bangalore for degree courses. Students who have qualified from AID, Bengaluru have worked on high-end games like GTA, FIFA, Red Dead Redemption and Oscar-winning animation movie projects like Jungle Book. AID has also partnered with Kalasalingam University, NMV University and Yenepoya University. As of now, more than 2000 students have graduated from the Asian Institute of Design, Bengaluru.
Asian Institute of Design, Bengaluru also provides deserving students with scholarships. AID Bangalore scholarships will be completely based on the student’s performance in the qualifying exams (SSC/HSC/PUC), AID selection test & the portfolios developed by individual students.

All the Asian Institute of Design Diploma programmes are offered with a total time duration of 1 year. UG programmes are available for different time durations, BCA for 3 years while B.Des is for 4 years duration. AID Bangalore Admission Process
- Register for the course you are interested in through the official website of the college.
- Take the entrance exam either online or at campus on the specified date and time.
- Take the interview telephonically or physically at the campus on the specified date.
- Selected candidates will receive a confirmation email on their registered email ID.
- The email will confirm the candidate’s provisional admission and a checklist of documents to be submitted will be communicated to the candidates.
- Pay the required registration fee and email the payment invoice to the institute.
- On successful payment, candidates will receive a welcome email from the college stating all information regarding class commencement, invocation, timetable, and others.
