Awasthi College of Education, Kangra was established in 2009 via Bhather, Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. This Co-educational institution recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) offers teacher education as it major course. With a two acre compound it is a Teachers College offering only one course, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed] with an enrolment of 200 students. It has a faculty of 10 members and the student teacher ratio is also or more which reflects on that college providing more attention to its students.
