Azeezia Nursing College was started in the year 2007 and is an affiliated college in Kollam, Kerala. It is a co-educational institution established on the 5 acre campus area sanctioned by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) as well. The college has enrolment of 199 students and has a faculty base of 25. In terms of full-time program, currently it offer only one program which is B.Sc Nursing. Nursing learning resources lab and simulation facilities, are specialized to advance the college’s efforts in healthcare education.

This college has several facilities to supplement the learning process of the college’s student population. The library remains as one of the vital academic facilities with over 3000 books belonging to the paramedical and allied health sciences disciplines and tradition Indian and International journals. It has a computerised catalogue and facility for accessing various publication through I campus software The computerised catalogue is complemented by a user friendly search facility for students. The college also houses well outfitted nursing skills laboratory for the various fields of nursing such as, Nursing foundation, Nursing medical surgical, human anatomy, human nutrition, Microbiology, child health, community health, Obstetrics, Gynecological, and computer studies. In regarding to student’s bodily demands, the campus provides a place for sports and gym. The college provides accommodation for both sexes and the sexual mix is separated because there are male and female hostels; the college provides furnished rooms for the hostel.

Azeezia Nursing College is aimed on the nursing education only and there is only one course – B.Sc Nursing. This full-time programme takes four years to complete and was approved to take in 50 students every year. This is because the college has committed to this specialised field enabling focused efforts in preparing professional nurses.
