BA College of Engineering and Technology (BACET) was set in 2007, it is an acknowledged college in East Singhbhum, Jharkhand. This affiliated college approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), is providing numerous number of engineering courses. Located in a wide 20-hectare land, BACET assures conducive atmosphere for scholarly performance and comprehensive growth. The college’s total student enrolment is 183 along with a faculty of 64 and through this way, the college provide the best education and faculty to the students. The offered 13 programmes fall under four degree levels; Undergraduate and Postgraduate and they include mechanical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, computer science and engineering and civil engineering.

The college has all the necessary facilities that are considered to improve the process of learning among the students. The central library a knowledge resource centre per excellence has almost 12000 books, magazines and research journals for students and staff and functioning in two floors. It also has an e-library for e-Journals and Video lectures. To cater with the interests of the students for sports and games, BACET has set up a sports cell for indoor and outdoor activities since its management knows the value of sports in the entire development process. In terms of technology, this college is well equipped with up to date communication and computer technology hence satisfying the student’s needs. An added advantage is a Wi-Fi enabled campus which enhances internet usage hence students are able to explore fully their areas of study and access the most recent information.

BACET has 13 courses in its offering, these are courses at both the undergraduate and diploma levels. The B.Tech programmes are professional undergraduate courses that take four years to complete and the diploma courses take three academic years. 

The process of admission at BACET is mainly decentralized through two admission tests. The following examinations are the main entrance examinations accepted in the institute: Joint Entrance Examination conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) & JEE–Main conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). These examinations guarantees that deserving candidate from across the country can have the chance to fulfil their engineering ambition at BACET. The college also considers admissions through Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination (JEECE) so as to cater for the engineers.
