Banaras Institute of Teacher's Education, Varanasi is one of the famous educational institutes established in the year 2003. This is a co-ed institution located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The institution is attached to the ideal education provided by them. BITE is an affiliated college granted recognition by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The institute accommodates a total of 1,646 students in a campus spread over an area of 5.76 acres, with 58 faculties.

The admission procedure in Banaras Institute of Teacher's Education varies from one course to another. Admission to the B.Ed course shall be on the basis of merit, which contains marks of the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination in agreement with the state government policy and university policies. The process for selection of candidates for B.P.Ed will comprise written test, sports proficiency test, physical fitness test, and marks of the qualifying examination. Admission to D.El.Ed will be strictly on merit basis based on marks secured from qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.
