Bapatla College of Arts and Sciences Guntur was established in 1963. The college is sponsored by the Bapatla Education Society and currently offers undergraduate programmes in the field of Arts, Science, Commerce and Computer Applications.

Bapatla College of Arts and Sciences offers BA (Hons.), BSc (Hons.), BCom (Hons.) and BCA (Hons.) programmes in various subject combinations. Admission to all these UG programmes is based on merit. BCAS Guntur is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University Guntur and is recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Bapatla College of Arts and Sciences Guntur has a Training and Placement Cell to handle the placement related activities on the campus. According to the NIRF Report 2025, out of 239 UG programme students from the batch of 2023, 13 students got placed with the median package of Rs. 3.50 LPA.

Bapatla College of Arts and Sciences provides various facilities to students in the college campus such as separate hostels for boys and girls, library, computer lab, playground, indoor stadium, gym, canteen and classrooms. The college also provides various scholarships to poor and meritorious students.
