Bharatratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College, Pune, came into existence in the year 2022 and is an affiliated college which is situated in Mangalwar, Maharashtra of India that qualifies the membership of the National Medical Commission (NMC). The institution is still young but has already laid the foundation of a strong academic setup with 111 talented and committed professionals in its faculty intending to carve out the future generation medical professionals. At the moment, the college has only one programme, the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with an approved annual student enrolment of one hundred. 

Bharatratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College has a strong belief in delivering basic learning infrastructure that will allow its students attain their academic goals. The library works as a centre of knowledge as it provide numerous amounts of medical articles and sources to support research and learning. Expanding the theoretical knowledge received, the college has departmental laboratories that allow students to acquire essential practical experience and skills needed for medical education. Yearning for health and safety also at the institution, a health centre has been developed with first aid section to allow for any quick emergency treatment. 

Bharatratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College provides only one course, at present, as an MBBS course. It is a full time course of six years duration. This full time programme as intended to cover all round medical education necessary to equip the students for the dynamics of the health care environment. This college has a total approved intake of 100 seats hence, the possibility of desirable student/teacher ratio to improve individual concern besides mentorship could be improved. 

 Entrance policy of Bharatratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College also follows the norm set by the nation, more specifically it follows the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG).
