Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital, Balangir has been set up in 2018 and is one among the new generation of Medical colleges in Odisha. This affiliated college is based in Balangir, and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The institute has a co-educational setup and spans across an area of the campus of 21 acres and serves the students in the diverse environment. College has over all enrolment of 282 students and has 97 faculty members; hence, the college offers good and effective student faculty ratio, which enhances the quality of education imparted to the students.
