Pretty famous in Kolkata, West Bengal, since over a decade of establishment in 2003, Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management is accredited by AICTE and NAAC. It lies on the sprawling campus of 5.08 acres. With 39 faculty members, CIEM shows a great number of 1,186 students to provide a good learning and professional growth environment.

The campus features some cool facilities. The library is huge and contains around 40,000 books and also sources out to e-journals: over 21,000 journals in Engineering & Technology and 5,000 in Management. The Central Computing Facility is equipped with the latest technology, along with 110 computers that are fully Wi-Fi connected, hence keeping us updated with the latest technology. We have a doctor available on campus during the office hours if we need medical help. The college also has vast sports facilities indoors and outdoors to keep us fit.

CIEM has different courses. We can offer the B.Tech degree among undergraduates for all engineering streams as well as BCA and BBA. For postgraduates, we have an MBA program. B.Tech courses take four years to complete, while the MBA course is two years. We have 60 seats in every B.Tech programme and also in the MBA programme each year.

The admissions at CIEM are according to the talents of all students in the country. For courses like B.Tech, they accept scores of all major entrance exams like JEE Main and WBJEE. If the student wants to get into the MBA, they can apply here with any score from exams such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, and JEMAT. This wide acceptance range makes sure that students belonging to all strata of life get admitted also at CIEM.
